How To Cook Recipes on the Thanksgiving Turkey Day Event

Much like previous games, Franklin is the head chef for the Turkey Day event and has set up shop in the middle of the Event Plaza, where he can be found cooking up a storm from 9:00am to midnight on November 25.

Upon speaking with Franklin, you will receive several tasks that will involve gathering ingredients for the upcoming feast, such as Pumpkins, Sea Bass, Mushrooms, Manila Clams, and much more.

After gathering all of the required ingredients, Franklin will reward you with a number of unique Turkey Day themed rewards.

And as extra treat, after you've helped complete the entire feast, Franklin will reward you with the DIY Cooking Recipes for each of the dishes you helped him make, as part of the version 2.0 update.

How to Enhance Dishes With Secret Recipe Ingredients on Turkey Day

After successfully completing a Turkey Day recipe, you will have the opportunity to enhance the dish with a secret ingredient for even more rewards.

While Franklin will only provide very vague clues as to what the secret ingredients may be for each recipe, you can always find out more information from your villagers, as they will often drop hints as to what items you will need to collect.

Once you have successfully found the secret ingredients (we have a complete list of all ingredients below), return to Franklin and inform him that you have the final ingredient. With the dish enhanced, Franklin will send you a unique DIY Turkey Day themed recipe.

Upon enhancing all four Turkey Day dishes, you will receive the entire set of all eight Turkey Day themed DIY Recipes.

How to Trade Villagers for Ingredients on Turkey Day

Some Turkey Day ingredients can be challenging to obtain, especially the likes of Pumpkins if you don't have any planted.

So you're probably wondering, which villagers can you trade for Turkey Day ingredients? Well, you'll need to search all of your villagers houses until you find one of them cooking in a makeshift kitchen.

Upon speaking with the villager, they will ask you to trade them a certain type of fish in exchange for an ingredient that is very likely related to the recipe that you are currently making.

Complete Turkey Day Recipes Lists

Listed below are all of the Turkey Day dishes that you will need to prepare in order to receive the unique Turkey Day rewards.

SPOILERS: Please note that the list below details all of the ingredients needed to complete the four Turkey Day recipes, including all of the secret ingredients that are used to enhance your dishes for more rewards.

Pumpkin Pie Recipe

As a reward for helping Franklin create the Clam Chowder recipe, you will receive the Turkey Day Wall.

To cook the Pumpkin Pie recipe on Turkey Day, you will need the following ingredients.

• x1 Orange Pumpkin
• x1 Random Colored Pumpkin
  • This Pumpkin can be Yellow, Green, or White in color.
• Secret Ingredient: x2 Pumpkins Colors that have not yet been requested. As a friendly reminder, Pumpkins come in the following colors: Orange, Green, Yellow, and White.

Clam Chowder Recipe

As a reward for helping Franklin create the Clam Chowder recipe, you will receive the Turkey Day Rug.

To cook the Clam Chowder recipe on Turkey Day, you will need the following ingredients.

• x3 Manila Clams
• Secret Ingredient: x1 Scallop

Fish Meunière Recipe

As a reward for helping Franklin create the Fish Meuniere recipe, you will receive the Cornucopia.

To cook the Fish Meuniere recipe on Turkey Day, you will need the following ingredients.

Northern Hemisphere:

• x1 Sea Bass
• x1 Random Fish
  • Olive Flounder
  • Red Snapper
  • Dab
• Secret Ingredient: Barred Knifejaw

Southern Hemisphere:

• x1 Sea Bass
• x1 Random Fish
  • Olive Flounder
  • Red Snapper
• Secret Ingredient: x1 Barred Knifejaw

As of the version 2.0 update, Franklin may also ask for Flour instead of a second fish.

Gratin Recipe

As a reward for helping Franklin create the Gratin recipe, you will receive the Turkey Day Flooring.

To cook the Gratin recipe on Turkey Day, you will need the following ingredients.
