WSISD announces new school boundaries for West Elementary families beginning with 2024-25 school year
Pre-kindergartners learn about first female African American astronaut
After learning about the first female African American astronaut, Dr. Mae Jemison, pre-kindergartners made a name rocket with the letters of their name and a handprint rocket. Teacher Hilda Meza read “Mae Among the Stars” as part of a science lesson and Black History Month.
