Long mornings in bed are my favorite. Especially with my gorgeous boyfriend beside me. he doesn't have to be at the stadium until later, so we are taking advantage of a longer morning in bed. then we are going out for dinner later tonight. Date night is important to nurture our relationship.
"Mmm you're so beautiful," Travis says and caresses down my naked body. We slept naked last night after an electric round of sex. More often than not we end up sleeping naked. Thankfully Thea hasn't come in and seen something she shouldn't yet. But if she does, I will tell her honestly that nakedness is completely normal. I don't want to tell her about the birds and bees yet, she is way too young, but being naked should be normalized. We were all born stark naked, and it shouldn't be weird to do things like sleep naked. I've heard it's even good for you. if that's true or not I don't know, but I like to think it is.
"you're one to talk" I lean over and kiss his bare chest. He has a full set of chest hair, but I really don't mind. It makes him look like a man, not like a barely legal adult. I thought I loved the boyish look in guys, but now that I'm with a real man I see what I've been missing out on. It's not just how he looks though, it's his whole being. His energy is fully an adult. Even though he likes to have fun, joke around, and let his inner kid out, he is still a stable adult presence. I know I can count on him; he won't flake out on me. it's refreshing to know that I have someone by my side I can completely count on.
"compared to you I'm a slob. You don't give yourself enough credit Tay" he says and pulls me by my waist closer to him. Our bodies mold together, and I bask in his warmth and scent. He smells like his spicy cologne mixed with his naturally musky scent. Even how he smells is adult-like.
"Now you're just trying to flatter me Mr. Kelce. I'm not buying what you're selling" I poke his chest and try to roll away again, but he won't let me. I'm glued to him, and I pretend like I'm struggling to get away, but I really don't want to separate our bodies.
"I could make you buy it," he says and rolls on top of me. I feel his heavy body settle against mine. he holds himself up with his arms, making sure not to squish me, but I still feel his weight on mine. it's like a big comfortable blanket. I love being wrapped all up in him.
"I see the challenge in your eyes Trav" I grin and peck his lips. My lips tingle from the scratch of his beard, but I don't mind. He has this thing where he doesn't shave during the playoffs, something about some superstitious thing. So it's getting pretty long by now. it scratches me when we kiss, and it scratches the inside of my thighs when he goes down on me, but I kind of like the friction if I'm being honest.
Our lips interlock and he lets more of his weight rest on me. he settles his knees between my spread legs, and I can see where this is going. But we are broken apart by the ringing of my phone. A distinct ringtone I have programmed to tell me tree is calling.
Furrowing my eyebrows I look apologizingly up at Travis "I need to take this" I sigh. He pecks my lips "Take it. it could be important."
We separate and I reach for my phone. Sure enough, it's tree calling. Before the call can go to voicemail I pick up. "good morning tree. What's up?"
"good morning, Taylor. I'm so sorry to bring this to you" She hesitates, and I wait for her to continue. I already expect it to be something bad, it often is. Sometimes she calls with good news, but a lot of the time it's something I'm not going to like that we need to fix.
"the news about there being a custody dispute is leaked to the press. The press is keeping their source locked up tight, but the only logical choice is someone from Joe's team leaked it. it's supposed to be sealed, so one of the parties would be the one to leak it if it got out. other media sites are feeling off it, and they are accusing you of keeping Thea from her father" she tells me, and I suck in a breath.
