Stats are a vital part of progression in Arcane Lineage. Stats serve as essential upgrades to different aspects of your character, and help you both in and out of combat. The only way to acquire stats is by leveling up at the cost of essence.
You can level up by meditating on mats by pressing M. You can find these mats in each of the cities in the game. After meditating you will be sent to the spirit domain where you must locate the white orb named "Aretim". Interact with him to level up. There are currently 5 stats that you can choose from, which are listed down below.
- Strength:[]
The Strength stat increases your physical strength which gives you more power/deals more damage with physical moves. This stat is good for classes like Warrior, Slayer and Martial Artists (Martial artist, Knight trainer and Spear trainer).
- Arcane[]
The Arcane stat is mainly used for the mage class but is sometimes used for unique super classes such as Dark Wraith and Saint. Arcane also upgrades ranged moves and magic moves. Therefore, Arcane points should be used for the super classes Necromancer, Darkwraith, Saint and Elementalist.
- Endurance:[]
Endurance stat increases your max health, it's not really used for a particular class but it's still very useful.
- Speed[]
The Speed stat increases dodge chance, as in lowers the speed of the dodge minigame. If you have a high enough stat you can dodge undodgeable attacks and it also increases movement speed (how fast you run/walk). Although it sounds like you should invest many points into speed it actually renders pretty useless because it only slightly changes the speed of the dodge minigame and movement speed is pretty useless because you can most of the time use equipment/accessories like rings, earrings and necklaces to boost your speed, therefore this stat is not recommended to invest points in.
- Luck[]
The Luck stat is a great stat to invest your points in because it increases drop rates from mobs and bosses, as well as increasing your crit rate, which is the chance to get a critical hit on a enemy. It's heavily recommend investing into Luck when using Assassin and Darkwraith because of their crit damage.
Trivia
- The current maximum amount of stat points a player can allocate is 120 unless they have the Dullahan race which increases it to 160
