Poiré Domfront – French pear cider – is the toast of Normandy

At the crossroads where Normandy and Brittany meet the Mayenne, Poiré Domfront has its roots in the region’s traditional pear orchards, which are unique in Europe. This protected designation of origin (AOP) product is made by about twenty producers who produce about 150,000 bottles a year. This French pear cider is a living product that reflects the natural Bocage landscape from which it originates. With an alcohol content of about 4% vol., Poiré Domfront AOP is the perfect accompaniment to every course from aperitif through to dessert.
